The Olympics finally come to a close today, and while Canada took home a shitload of medals, we lost at hockey, rendering all the other medals totally meaningless. So screw you speed skaters. We can now return to not watching regular CBC programming.

You know, Canadian women did win hockey gold. But does anyone care? No. More proof that women, while being better at a lot of things than men, get no respect.
No one made a big deal about the womens hockey because they were expected to stomp the shit out of everyone and they did, so there isn't much of a story there. Plus, like you said no one really cares about womens hockey. Let 'em check each other I says, then people will watch.
